Are you prepared for wildfire on your property or near your home? As devastating wildfires continue to become more prevalent each year in Kansas, make sure to protect yourself and your family.
Kansas property owners and residents are encouraged to utilize the “Ready, Set, Go!” handbook to be prepared for wildfire.
The handbook includes sections on understanding the risk, preparing your home and property, creating defensible space, preparing household checklists, the leave early checklist and a section called My Personal Wildland Fire Action Guide that includes a page to fill out with your own information.
