RICE COUNTY — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) announced on Tuesday that it has rescinded a stream advisory for Little Cow Creek to Cow Creek located South of Lyons, Kansas, that was issued on December 6, 2022.
Water samples show no health risk associated with this stream.
Water contact in the stream is now deemed safe and if you live or have activities near this stream, you may enter the stream and you can allow children and pets to enter the stream.
