PRATT COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Pratt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Jeep Wrangler driven by Izabella Rose Lampe, 18, Kingman, was westbound on U.S. 54 four and one half miles east of Pratt.
The Jeep rear-ended the second trailer pulled by a 2021 Freightliner semi driven by Daniel J. Lucas, 47, White Pine, Tennessee, who was attempting to stop at a marked railroad crossing.
EMS transported Lampe to a Wichita Hospital. Lucas and a passenger were not injured. The drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
