HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson 9-year-old is on to the next round in an online contest for the best kid's mullet.
Tucker Etienne is looking to receive more fan votes and collecting donations for Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors, a charity that helps provide mortgage free, accessible homes for wounded Veterans.
In the second round, they will have judges critique each mullet based upon length, style, and uniqueness, along with continuing votes and donations. During this round, the donations stay for each contestant but the votes reset.
You can vote for Tucker's mullet online once per day July 20 through 24.
Round 3 is the top 25 kids and the final round, which is August 7th through August 11th. 1st place wins $5,000, second place $1,000, and third place $500, along with a pair of sunglasses.
