KANSAS CITY —One person died in an accident just after 5a.m. Tuesday at Kansas City International Airport.
A Honda Fit was traveling the wrong way on International Circle, just south of 1 KC Boulevard, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina. The car collided head-on with a Subaru.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead from the medical staff at a local hospital. The driver and passenger of the Subaru were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
This is Fatality #59 vs #82 last year in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Becchina.
