Luella I. Ratzlaff, 93, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Moundridge Manor. She was born June 27, 1930 in Montezuma, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse H. and Minnie (Ratzlaff) Jantz.
Luella was a member of the Lone Tree Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in rural Galva.
She was united in marriage to Gilmer E. Ratzlaff on May 2, 1954 in Fredonia.
Luella was a devoted homemaker.
She is survived by her two sons, Dalen (Debra) Ratzlaff of Guntersville, AL, and Lyndon Ratzlaff of McPherson; daughter, Kim (Stan) Ratzlaff of Canton; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother, Harold (June) Jantz of Neodesha; sisters, LaVerda (Milton) Boehs of Lakin, and Marilyn (Gaylord) Schmidt of Galva; brother-in-law, Marvin (Karen) Ratzlaff of Newton; and sisters-in-law, Doris (Bob) Wilson of Gentry, AR, and Alverta Ratzlaff of Moundridge.
Luella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilmer Ratzlaff; three sisters; two brothers; grandson, Travis Ray Ratzlaff; and one sister-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Lone Tree Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, August 11, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at the church.
