JOHNSON COUNTY —Police in Johnson County reported a "Good Catch"
According to a social media report from police in the city of Shawnee, Just after 3 p.m. June 9, an officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop near Johnson Drive and Monticello Road.
The driver failed to yield and refused to stop. The officer successfully deployed a Grappler device, bringing the vehicle to a safe stop. The driver, who had an outstanding warrant for flee and elude, was taken into custody.
Police did not release the name of the suspect.
