HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutch Rec and many others are gearing up for the second annual Fall Festival. This year's event is set for Sept. 30 through Oct. 1. The celebration was connected to the annual Rod Run last year, adding numerous events to the weekend.

The Rod Run & Classic Car Show includes a Show & Shine of 400-plus beautiful hot rods, classic and antique cars, trucks and motorcycles, a Main Street Cruise, vendor demonstrations, and great food and drinks. The weekend also includes several activities and events for all ages, including a Family Movie Night in DCI Park, food and beverage trucks, live music, and a vintage arts and crafts market.

Hutch Rec will also host the Salt City 5K and 10K runs Saturday morning starting at 8.

Saturday afternoon is highlighted by the Hutch Rec Brewfest from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Hutch Brewfest will feature a variety of craft beers from all over Kansas. The evening finishes with the movie in the park, featuring the classic movie Grease at 7:30 in DCI Park.
