Beverly Marie was born August 23, 1944. Her mother Marie Bottoms Littleton and step father Jessie Littleton preceded her in death. She attended primary school in Wichita Kansas and went on to attend the Job Corps in Cleveland, Ohio.
Beverly moved to Denver Colorado where she married Sylvester Lee. She worked and retired from Mountain Bell Telephone and also Western Electric. She later moved to Long Beach, California where she became a Certified Nurse Assistant and worked for the Veteran’s Administration Hospital and gained a second retirement.
Beverly’s wandering spirit lead her back to Wichita Kansas in her later years. She spent her days visiting with friends and family. She enjoyed intimate dinners and had great sense of humor. Everyone who knew her saw her sense of fashion and style.
She was preceded in death by her only son Brian Tillman, two brothers Marshall Hubbard and Richard Bottoms.
She leaves to mourn her grandson Eric Tillman Carter, one brother Jerry Littleton (Yvonne) of Las Vegas, NV and one sister Darlene Groves of Rio Hondo, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside will be held Monday, July 8, at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas.
