HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutch Rec and the Dillon Nature Center will be hosting a unique way to enjoy all of the goodies of the farmers market.
On Aug. 7, the nature center will host the Foodie Fest on the Trail. The farmers market will be set up along all of the nature center trails. Participants can bring cash and shop with local vendors. Entertainment will be provided from local musicians and there will be a youth foodie fast cookoff competition and a pedal-powered smoothie maker.
The event runs from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. All activities are free.
