Martha Jean Kimble, 87, died Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Stafford. Born September 18, 1935, at Hutchinson she was the daughter of Delmar and Bessie Baber Steinhardt.
She was a 1954 Stafford High School graduate
and attended Emporia State University. She was a dental assistant in
Austin, Texas before returning to Stafford in 2001. She was an Auxiliary
Member of the American Legion and the Bridge Club, both of Stafford. On
February 29, 2004, she married Monte Kimble. She is survived by her
husband, Monte. She was the mother of five children: Regina (Jon)
Sanchez, Brenda Schartz, Kyle Waters, Kirk Waters and Shelli (Michael)
Rochford. Brother: Lee Steinhardt. Sister: Dee Ann Rankin.
14 grandchildren. 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sister: Peggy Leach and grandson: Jordan Charles Waters.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 6, at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Burial will be at Neeland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 p.m. at Minnis Chapel, Stafford.
Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross in care of the chapel.
