Michael Allan Steiner, 30, of Little River, Kansas, passed away April 9, 2023. He was born October 7, 1992, in Houston, Texas, the son of Todd Potter and Paula Steiner.
Michael was a near lifelong Little River resident. He attended Little River High School. Michael worked in construction for Todd Potter and Jerome Gaylor Construction in Little River and was a warehouse manager at KMW in Sterling, Kansas. He played football for Little River High School and was a member of the ROTC.
Michael enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, drawing, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Gabrielle Clifford of Little River, KS; father, Todd Potter and wife Lenora Lewis of Little River, KS; mother, Paula Sumrall and husband Robert of Livingston , TX; siblings, Crystal Sledge of Adrian, MI, Donovan Sledge of Adrian, MI, Tyler Potter of IN, Kerstin Howard and husband Travis of Lyons, KS, Vance Wartman Jr. of Livingston, TX, Leah Steiner of Livingston, TX, Hannah Kinsey and husband Will of Hutchinson, KS, Rachel Lewis of Hutchinson, KS, Rebekah Betkel of McPherson, KS, Diane Soto and husband William of Solomon, MO; paternal grandmother, Janet Potter of Houston, TX; maternal grandmother, Linda Steiner “MeMaw” of Livingston, TX; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 P.M., Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Congregational Church, Little River, with Pastor Ted Weis officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church.
Memorials may be given to the Little River High School (for the wood shop) in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
