Thais Mary Fritzemeier went home to Heaven on August 28th, 2022 at her home in Modesto CA. She was surrounded in comfort by her daughter Tammy Balos her son-in-law Dan Balos and her granddaughters Ashley Kee and Lauren House. She was born on December 25, 1936 to George Howard and Mary Glenn in Great Bend.
She was the oldest of four children (Clarkie, Chuck, and Ruth) She spent her childhood in Wyoming and Kansas. Thais gave her life to Christ at the age of 13 and faithfully walked with Him for the rest of her life. She was an excellent student and an accomplished member of the debate team at Stafford High School.
Thais married Ronald Charles Fritzemeier on July 21, 1954 at Calvary Baptist Church in Stafford. They were married for over 60 years. They had five children and lived in Kansas, Wyoming, and California. Thais was an avid reader and writer. She wrote many poems and short stories. She was a hardworking and dedicated employee retiring in 2008.
Thais was a beautiful example of a faithful servant to Christ. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ronald and her son Randy, as well as her daughter-in-law Marca.
She is survived by her children Rick (Marian) Fritzemeier, Ron (Debbie) Fritzemeier, Rob Fritzemeier, Tammy (Dan) Balos and her daughter-in-law Kathy Chapman. She is also lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family members, and friends.
Visitation and Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 19, 2022 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Interment will be at Feldhut Cemetery.
