DICKINSON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 6:30 a.m. Monday in Dickinson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by 40-year-old Charles A. Adams of McPherson was westbound on Interstate 70 four miles east of Solomon when the Nissan passed a vehicle and while coming back into drive lane struck the rear of a 2013 Freightliner semi driven by 59-year-old Michael L Spurlock of Belton, Missouri.
EMS transported Adams to the hospital in Abilene. Spurlock was not injured. Adams was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
