HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Sheriff's Department released its results from the latest Click It or Ticket campaign.
The department made a total of 174 stops and issued 164 seat belt citations. Deputies also issued citations for a registration violation, a citation for illegal transportation of liquor, and one drug case.
Click It or Ticket is conducted each spring to help bring awareness to seat belt usage and is funded through a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
