Gloria A. (Koehn) Wiggers, 102, of Moundridge, Kansas, died Monday, September 4, 2023 at the Moundridge Manor. She was born January 20, 1921 in McPherson County, Kansas to David J. and Susie (Boese) Koehn.
On May 4, 1941 she married Arverd Robert Wiggers at Galva, Kansas.
Gloria lived in Clarksdale, Mississippi area for many years. She became a resident of the Moundridge Manor in June of 2006.
Her survivors include her two daughters, Marilyn Smith of Leland, MS, and Judith (Stan) Esau of Vanceboro, NC; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandson; and three great-great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; six brothers; four sisters; one son-in-law; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Clarksdale Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Clarksdale, MS. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home is handling Mississippi services. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
