GREAT BEND, Kan. — Three Dragons (6-0) scored in double figures Saturday afternoon as Hutchinson Community College held on to defeat Redlands (1-3).
Monae Duffy led Hutchinson with 14 points and nine rebounds before she fouled out of the contest.
Mya Williams added 12 and Kali Howard finished with a double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds).
The Dragons made good on just 24% of its three-pointers (6 of 25).
Redlands made three more triples and got 20 points from Brooklyn Haywood, who went 3 of 7 from deep.

The Dragons held the Cougars to eight points in the second quarter.
No. 5 Hutchinson opens conference play Nov. 16 against Independence in the Sports Arena.
