GREAT BEND, Kan. — No. 15 Hutchinson (5-0) faced off with McCook for the first time in 13 years Friday afternoon.
The Dragons jumped out to a 10-point lead with eight minutes left in the first half.
McCook tied the game at 24 just five minutes later.
Hutchinson took a 32-27 lead into the break after shooting just 29%.
The 32 points marked a season low for the Dragons, who average 103.7 points per game.
The Dragons extended the lead to 47-38 with 13:43 left.
A quick 6-0 run put Hutchinson up double digits.
Hutchinson used 23 points off turnovers to go up 68-47 with less than eight minutes remaining.
Hutchinson outscored McCook 56-34 in the second half.

Four Dragons scored in double digits, led by Angelo Stuart's 19 (Jacquez Yow 18, Kaimen Lennox 15 and Kobe Campbell 12).
Hutchinson outrebounded McCook 49-39 and scored 31 points off 29 turnovers.
