Roger Lee Elliott, 84, of Kingman, died June 15th, 2023, at his home. He was born October 10th, 1938, in Wichita KS, to Mary Lucinda and William "Ray" Elliott.
Roger enlisted in the Air Force his Senior Year of high school and Later Transferred to the Army. Upon Returning home he worked as a security guard and Sedgwick Co. Sheriff Reserve. Roger enjoyed going on family picnics, welding, woodworking, amateur ham and CB radio, and collecting model Trains. He Also enjoyed spending time with his two dogs Oscar and Benjamin, and cat snowy.
He was of the Nazarene Faith.
On September 25th, 1968, Roger married MIriam "Mary" Asmussen. They Shared 54 wonderful years together, She Survives.
Other Surviving Family Members include his son Michael Elliott (Kim) of South Hutchinson. Daughter Debbie Piland (Andrew) of Newton. Grandchildren, Matt Elliott (Brandy) of South Hutchinson, Christian Elliott (jessie) of Mcpherson, David Kaufmann, Tulsa, Steven Kaufmann, Tulsa, Ethan Piland (lynsi) of Newton, Gabe Piland of newton and Christofer Gibbs of Florida. Great Grand Children Kaedynce and Kadeyn Elliott.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents and Two sons, Roger Lee Gibbs and Christopher Elliott and granddaughter Jillian.
Celebration of life will be at 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Kingman Expo Arena, 121 S. Main, Kingman, KS.
