SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The South Hutchinson City Council could add a member during Monday’s agenda session.
Mayor Matt Nisly will nominate Megan Weber to the council. The council will vote to appoint her at that time. The city council was short two seats after Jeff Dovel and Tyler Graves announced their resignations in June.
Nisly then nominated Brian Garretson to take one of the seats. That was approved by the council at their last meeting. If Weber gets the nod, the council will be back at full strength.
Also Monday, the council will go over two new ordinances regarding junk vehicles and health nuisances. Plus the council will discuss the budget and the new revenue neutral law.
Monday’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the city offices at 2 S. Main.
