Kansas felon accused of transporting drugs

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas felon on multiple allegations after a traffic stop.

Just after 10a.m. March 19, a deputy with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a black 2011 Nissan pickup in the 600 block of SE Quincy Street, according to Deputy Abigail Christian. During the investigation, illegal narcotics were located.

The driver, Tanner T. Marlow, 28, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections (SNDOC) on requested charges Possession of a hallucinogenic drug, Possession of marijuana, Use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia, Vehicles; display plate not assigned. Marlow has previous convictions for domestic battery and for drugs, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
