WYANDOTTE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities investigating a deadly Sunday hit-and run crash that left a Kansas woman dead asked the public for help in locating the suspect vehicle. According to Kansas City, Kansas police, a the driver came forward Monday.
Just before 7p.m. Sunday, a man and woman were walking eastbound on Leavenworth Road at N. 55th Street when an eastbound vehicle struck the woman and did not stop.
She was pronounced deceased on scene.The vehicle was described as a newer model, four-door, black BMW with tinted windows and front-end damage. Police have not released the name of the woman who died.
