The USD 308 Board of Education will hold its regular meeting this evening at 6 p.m. at the district’s Administration Center.
On the agenda is a Memorandum of Understanding with Trinity United Methodist Church, setting terms for the district to provide bulk lunch services to Trinity’s Treasures Preschool and Childcare Center.
Board members will also consider a resolution for the 2025–2026 Local Option Budget in the amount of $12,439,435.
In addition, the board will vote on the sale of two properties at 2800 and 2804 Morris Road, homes that were built by students through the Career and Technical Education Academy’s building trades program.
Another item calls for approval of $24,137 in upgrades to wiring and software for 11 rooftop HVAC units at the high school, a project needed as the current software is older. The upgrade will tie the units in with the rest of the campus, so they won't have to switch back and forth between two systems.
The next USD 308 Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Sept. 22.
