HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The 2023 Boots and Bling fundraising event will take place at the Kansas State Fairgrounds on Aug. 12.
While tables are all sold out, there are still sponsorship opportunities.
Boots and Bling is the signature event of the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation and has come to be known as the best fundraising party in Kansas. This year's theme is Champagne Life.
The event provides sponsorship opportunities, many one-of-a-kind live and silent auction items, a delicious meal, and a fun night of entertainment and fundraising to support the mission of the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation.
The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation strives to inspire excellence and understanding of Kansas agriculture, industry and culture through the Kansas State Fair, activities, educational programs and opportunities.
Formed in 2003, the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation was established with the specific purposes of furthering the renovation, construction, preservation and beautification of the Kansas State Fairgrounds.
Their goal is to help, assist, promote, support, maintain, enhance, endow and advance the interests of the Kansas State Fair, and to encourage education of the public about the Kansas State Fair and its purpose and activities.
The Kansas State Fairgrounds is home to more than 600 non-fair events each year in addition to hosting more than 320,000 visitors to the Kansas State Fair.
The Boots and Bling event has come to be known as “The Best Fundraising Party in Kansas”. It combines recognition, excitement, and entertainment to create an unforgettable evening of fun and fundraising.
The live auction will consist of number of traditional items which garner interest year after year. It will include once in a life-time opportunities for unique and original pieces of artwork, jewelry, special events, exclusive vacation packages and more.
The silent auction will provide a broad opportunity for items and interests. The sale lots in this auction will range from custom furniture pieces, clothing, jewelry, unique craft, décor pieces, signed prints, wine and cheese selections, charcuterie boards, tools, gift cards and baskets specifically assembled for the Boots and Bling Silent Auction.
From both auctions, there is something for everyone.
People will be able to bid online in the both the Live and Silent Auctions. Details on this option can be found on the Boots and Bling and Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation Facebook page.
The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation is also looking for unique donation items.
If you have a unique donation idea for the Boots and Bling Live Auction, send an email to [email protected] with details. For the live auction, donated packages typically have a minimum value of $1,000 while the silent auction donated items typically have a minimum value of $100.
