
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — After having to wait a day because of the weather, The Volunteer Center opened its VITA Tax Assistance service on Wednesday at the Hutchinson Salvation Army.
The VITA tax site is at 700 N. Walnut The site is open Tuesdays 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Volunteers will prepare taxes free of charge for persons whose combined household income does not exceed $57,000.
