HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Ranger Junior College showed they may be primed for a run through the NJCAA National Basketball Tournament as they jumped out to a quick 10 point lead and defeated the 4th seed John A Logan 87-75.

The Rangers were led by Jorell Saterfield again with 23 points and Keisei Tominaga with 16. Despite the height disadvantage the Rangers also out rebounded the Vols and shot 51% from the field.

The Vols who spent part of the season as the number 1 team in the nation could never get on track after the slow start. A few runs got them close a couple of times but they could never fully get back in the game.  Logan was led by Xavier Bell with 20 points and Romon Douglas-Watkins with 17. They end the season at 18-6.
