Diana Lee (Galloway) Fromong, 73, died June 20, 2024, surrounded by her family, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born July 9, 1950, in El Dorado, to LeRoy and Betty Irene (Gude) Galloway.
Diana graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1968, and worked for Southwestern Bell and AT&T. She enjoyed tending to her yard and crocheting. Diana was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.
On February 5, 1979, she married Donald Dean Fromong, in Miami, OK. He died January 12, 2022, after they shared almost 43 years of marriage.
Diana is survived by: daughter, Angela Herbel (Jerry E. Jr.) of Georgia; son, Donald Fromong, Jr. of California; sisters, Lynn Booth, Brona La Force, and Denise Galloway, all of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Christopher Herbel, Jason Herbel (Bonnie), Stephan Herbel (Meghan), and Kolby Fromong; and great-grandchildren, Ava Fromong and Arthur Herbel; and aunt, June Hightower of Mascoutah, IL.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Richard “Ricky” Galloway; and a sister, Brenda Galloway.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1602 N. Main, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Burial will follow in Larned Cemetery, Larned. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
