RILEY COUNTY—Authorities are warning Kansans of a COVID test scam, according to the Riley County Health Department.

If you receive COVID tests in the mail that you did not order, throw them away. 

Scammers are using these mailed tests to target Medicare recipients. When you mail the test back, the scammers steal Medicare information and submit false claims. 

If you would like a COVID test, Riley County Health Department still offers them free of charge.
