LINN COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 12:15 a.m. Thursday in Linn County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Hyundai Elantra driven by Edward A. Schultz, 41, Centerville, was southbound on Mills Road just south of Tanglewood Lane six and one half miles southwest of La Cygne. The car traveled off the road to the east, struck an embankment and rolled onto its top.
Schultz was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Forensic Medical. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of accident, according to the KHP.
