HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Odessa Head Coach Kris Bauman said he’d like to see his Odessa Wranglers basketball team stay in Hutchinson a little longer this year after an unexpected quick exit last year.

That game will be Thursday at 12 noon. With the game tied at 42 at the half Odessa was able to gain the lead and keep Shelton State just far enough out of reach to win. Odessa was led by Daniss Jenkins with 18 points and Garfield Turner with 15.
Shelton State which ended the season at 27-7 was led by Jaykwon Walton who came off the bench to score 16 points. Thaddeus Williams added 15.
