
Daniel Lee Loop, 41, of Haven, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was born on August 26, 1982 in Tribune, Kansas, the son of Larry and Peggy (Martin) Loop.
He graduated from Haven High School with the class of 2001. Daniel later attended Hutchinson Community College.
Daniel owned and operated Loop Dent Removal, offering paintless dent repair throughout the region.
Daniel had two children, Vance and Brooke, from a previous relationship.
He met Katie Marie Nisly in April of 2017 and they married on June 13, 2023. She survives.
Daniel loved cars and was often found collecting, repairing, restoring and modding them to his liking. He was known for his talent in painting vehicles and would enjoy painting eccentric designs. He also loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and riding dirt bikes. Daniel adored his dogs, Bear and Duke, but above all, Daniel loved spending time with his children and watching them in all their sports activities.
Other survivors include his children, Vance and Brooke Loop of Haven; bonus children, Emalee and Trevor Stout of Haven; father, Larry Loop of Park City; birth mother, Kim Petersen of Barneston, NE; brother, Jeff (Adria) Loop of Haven; half siblings, Lucas Petersen of Barneston, NE, and Jesse Lemerond of Falls City, NE; and nieces and nephews, Keaton, Riley, Makayla, Madi, Isabelle, and Lily.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Loop; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Journey at Yoder Activity Center, 3605 Longview Rd, Haven, KS 67543. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice House in Hutchinson or the Hutchinson Animal Shelter in care of Ott Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Haven, KS 67543.
