&nbsp; John “Kirk” Cottingham, 85, of Hutchinson, died May 19, 2025, at Pleasant Hills, Hutchinson. He was born July 21, 1939, in McPherson, to John and Vivian (Steeves) Cottingham.&nbsp;

Kirk graduated from Newton High School in 1957 and obtained his bachelor’s degree from University of Kansas in 1961. He was a financial advisor with A.G. Edwards before retiring in 2000. Kirk was a long-time member of Kiwanis Club of Downtown Hutchinson and an avid supporter and contributor of the Boys and Girls Club of Hutchinson. He spent many hours on golf courses as it was his favorite hobby.&nbsp;

On November 14, 1998, he married Eileen Miller in Hutchinson. They shared 26 beautiful years together before his death.&nbsp;

Kirk is survived by: beloved wife, Eileen Cottingham; children, Jay (Sheri) Cottingham and Anna (Paul) Ondreika; grandchildren, Emma Cottingham, Alexandria and Sydney Ondreika; step-children, Dale (Tonya) Ferguson, Kevin Ferguson, Mike Ferguson, and Celia Ferguson; and six step-grandchildren.&nbsp;He was preceded in death by: his parents, and twin brother and sister-in-law, Kent and Judy Cottingham.&nbsp;

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Journey @ South Hutchinson. Family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel. Friends may sign his book 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.&nbsp;

Gloria Ann (Moore) Neighbor was born on Nov 7, 1939 in Enid, OK to Dale and Mabel (Scheffler) Moore. Gloria was raised on the family farm between Hunter and Pond Creek, OK, attending the Hunter School System graduating in 1958. Gloria then attended Phillips University in Enid, OK where she met the love of her life, marrying Darryl Everett Neighbor on August 20,1960 in Hunter, OK.

Gloria loved her family and taking care of them was the most important goal of her life. She was very involved with the PTA while her children were in school along with the church they attended. While living in Hutchinson she was on the Board of Mother to Mother and the Board of the Emergency Shelter Home. Moving to Wichita she was a member of Hillside Christian Church. She loved singing in the Choir, helping with the weekly Food Bank and baking for special occasions.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 64 years, Darryl; children, Mark (Kimberly) Neighbor, Dale (Kimberly) Neighbor, Lucinda (Brian) Hutchins; 6 grandchildren, Kurt (Amber) Neighbor, Kaycee (Brandon) Antle, Rebecca (Terrence) Long, Andrew (Megan) Neighbor, Kaitlyn Hutchins, Abigail Hutchins; 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Kemna; nephew, Clinton Kemna; and several aunts and uncles.

Allen Ray Wedel, 70, of Hutchinson, died May 24, 2025, at Via Christi- St. Francis, Wichita. He was born November 15, 1954, in Hutchinson, KS, to Bert and Earlene Marie (Prichard) Wedel.

Allen graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1972. After completing high school, he attended Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. For most of his life, Allen worked as a commercial electrician.

When Allen wasn’t fixing things, working with his hands, or adding to his immense collection of tools, he was out fishing or watching sports. Allen was a big KC Chiefs and Royals fan. In addition, he enjoyed attending the NJCAA Basketball tournaments, HCC Dragons football, or any local school sports event. Allen had a big heart, and found joy in genuinely helping anyone in need, including animals. &nbsp;

On February 14, 1988, he married Jean Dockery-Hoffman, in Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: children, Mark (Katie) Wedel, Melanie (Derrick Vandenbos) Wedel, Kimberly (Shane) Keyser, and Roy (Hiedi) Hodges; grandchildren, Andrew Keyser, Quinton Fenske, Tyler Hodges, Zachary Keyser, Ian Wedel, and Sarah Hodges; brother, Harold (Cathy) Wedel; sister, Barbara (Frank) Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. &nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Leonard Michael Keller, 76, died May 19, 2025, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born September 26, 1948, in Belleville, IL, to Leonard and Armilda June (Coon) Keller.

Leonard graduated from Falls City High School, Falls City, NE. He worked as a carpenter for many years and later on at Casino White Cloud in surveillance, White Cloud, KS.

In his spare time, Leonard enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to oldies music, fishing and mushroom hunting. In addition, he enjoyed working with his hands and building new things. &nbsp;&nbsp;

On March 17, 1995, he married Rhonda Kay White, in White Cloud, KS. They shared over 30 years of marriage.

Leonard is survived by: his wife, Rhonda Keller; daughters, Misty and Kristy Keller; stepchildren, Tony (Felicia) Shefferd, Lori (Mike) Miller, and Sheila (Les) Shefferd; niece, Stephanie (Vince) McFadden; sister-in-law, Cathie Boyer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Nancy Kennedy; and brother, Bill Boyer.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., at George Ogden Community Building, 3345 Thrasher Rd., White Cloud, KS.

Nancy Jeanne Kingsley, 74, passed away on April 13, 2025, at her home in Hutchinson.

Nancy was born December 15, 1950, in Pratt, Kansas, to Ellis W. Jr and Betty Jeanne (Patterson) Huitt. She grew up on a farm outside Pratt and graduated with the first senior class of Skyline High School in 1968. She earned her degree from Fort Hays State University before opening her own home decor business after graduating college.

For the majority of her career Nancy worked in the home décor industry, traveling across Kansas and forming close relationships with local shop owners. She especially loved small Kansas downtowns.

More than anything, she loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren, William (13) and Anna Grace (10). She was an avid KU basketball fan, a dog lover, and enjoyed trips to the Colorado mountains. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Nancy is survived by her son, Brad Kingsley (Rebekah) of Bentonville, AR; sister, Linda Kay Huitt of Longmont, CO; and her grandchildren, William and Anna Grace. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike Huitt.

A private inurnment has taken place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt.

Jetta Ann LeDuc, 86, of Buhler, KS, died May 21, 2025, at Hospice House- Hutchinson, Kansas. &nbsp;She was born January 18, 1939, in Gettysburg, SD, to Joe and Agnus (Hiemstra) Van Bockel.

Jetta earned her GED at a prairie school outside of Gettysburg, SD. &nbsp;She went on to Teacher School for college in 1957. &nbsp;She met a handsome lad named David “Judo Chop” LeDuc who was stationed at the Gettysburg Air Force Station. &nbsp;The rest is history as they were married on June 1,1963. They moved to Michigan, Illinois, Kansas and finally settled in their later years in York, NE. &nbsp;Jetta was a teacher, school bus driver, and cook. &nbsp;She loved to bowl. &nbsp;She loved taking care of her four boys and raised them in the Word of God. &nbsp;Jetta enjoyed attending her flower garden and was always cooking or canning. &nbsp; But most of all, she was known for her knowledge of the Bible. &nbsp;She loved to sit with friends and do Bible studies. &nbsp;Sometimes when she played games like Bible Trivia, everyone wanted to be on her side. &nbsp;If you were on the opposing team…well, you just ended up forfeiting to keep from the embarrassment. &nbsp;Jetta was a caregiver and loved to have company over for card games. She developed many friendships in the kindness she showed others by welcoming them in. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Jetta is survived by: &nbsp;her husband, David Damien LeDuc; her brother, Raymond Van Bockel; her children, Mike LeDuc (Lucinda) of Aberdeen, SD; Kelley LeDuc (Laurie) of Hutchinson, KS; Wade LeDuc (Denise) of Prairie Grove, AR; Andy LeDuc (Casi) of Wakarusa, KS; and grandchildren, Paul LeDuc, Hunter LeDuc, Gabe LeDuc, Brandon LeDuc (Abeni), Alyssa LeDuc, Kayla King (Colby), Megan LeDuc, Matthew LeDuc, Sean LeDuc and Emily LeDuc.

Kathy was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, on December 15,1963 and got her midwestern values from her parents Lew and Julane Ediger. She got her work ethic, boundary setting skills and business sense from her father and her playfulness and conversation skills from her mother. Kathy’s grandparents, Art and Mary Smisor, managed the Landmark Hotel. &nbsp;When Kathy was three and a half years old, she answered the switchboard. Kathy loved spending time with her Grandma Mary who was a great storyteller and filled her mind with the possibilities of imagination. She and her mom were models for Lew’s Belco company which specialized in Ultra Vans and the Tiara RV. Kathy was proud to model in her white vinyl go-go boots. She graduated from Hutchinson High School where she was a cheerleader and part of the drama department. Kathy went to Wichita State University and later auditioned and was accepted into the prestigious acting conservatory at Webster University in St. Louis. She was a talented actress, but, inspired by her grandmother’s storytelling, switched to writing classes. Kathy’s adventurous spirit took her to New York where she was one of the editors for a magazine called Gifts and Decorative Accessories. She lived in Denver, Colorado, Atlanta, Georgia, Mobile, Alabama, and later moved back to St. Louis. She wrote for St. Louis Magazine and was an award-winning writer. She wrote poems and short stories about growing up in the Midwest. She told stories of childhood characters she met along the way. Kathy’s story of how her parents met and their tradition of gifting an old red shoe found in the gutter on their first date; at weddings, birthdays, and holidays, was published in Mary Engelbreit’s magazine. Kathy had a great eye for visuals and was a stylist for magazine photoshoots. She loved animals and had many beloved pets throughout her lifetime. Kathy had a frog, a gerbil, an iguana, several fish, a huge dwarf frog, a twenty-six-year-old newt, a pet squirrel and several beloved dogs she cared for like her own children. She reunited with her childhood friend, Sam Torrence, in Atlanta. Kathy and Sam loved their hometown of Hutchinson and moved back to be closer to their families. They got married in Lindsborg, Kansas and honeymooned at Coronado Heights. Kathy loved mid-century modern furniture and antiques. &nbsp;She operated a successful Esty store, including selling items to famous Hollywood television shows. She loved preserving history and helped save the Ye Old Mill ride at the Kansas state fair from being torn down. &nbsp;Kathy was also interested in helping restore the Landmark Hotel that her grandparents managed. She used her eye for antiques, writing skills, and ability to style photoshoots to start her own business called Paper Moon Estate Sales. Kathy worked hard conducting estate sales up until the very end.

Kathy passed on May 15, 2025, at her home. She is survived by: Sam Torrence, husband; Julane Ediger, mother; Mike and Virginia Torrence, in-laws; Ryan, Leah, and Sarah Torrence, stepchildren; Steve, Kelly and Jon Ediger, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew; Sherry Wray, a very special cousin; Brad Smisor, cousin and Maizy and Griffin her two beloved dogs. &nbsp;She was preceded in death by: her father, Lew Ediger; &nbsp;Art and Mary Smisor and John and Martha Ediger, grandparents.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Kathy had a frog, a gerbil, an iguana, several fish, a huge dwarf frog, a twenty-six-year-old newt, a pet squirrel and several beloved dogs she cared for like her own children. She reunited with her childhood friend, Sam Torrence, in Atlanta. Kathy and Sam loved their hometown of Hutchinson and moved back to be closer to their families. They got married in Lindsborg, Kansas and honeymooned at Coronado Heights. Kathy loved mid-century modern furniture and antiques. &nbsp;She operated a successful Esty store, including selling items to famous Hollywood television shows. She loved preserving history and helped save the Ye Old Mill ride at the Kansas state fair from being torn down. &nbsp;Kathy was also interested in helping restore the Landmark Hotel that her grandparents managed. She used her eye for antiques, writing skills, and ability to style photoshoots to start her own business called Paper Moon Estate Sales. Kathy worked hard conducting estate sales up until the very end.Kathy passed on May 15, 2025, at her home. She is survived by: Sam Torrence, husband; Julane Ediger, mother; Mike and Virginia Torrence, in-laws; Ryan, Leah, and Sarah Torrence, stepchildren; Steve, Kelly and Jon Ediger, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew; Sherry Wray, a very special cousin; Brad Smisor, cousin and Maizy and Griffin her two beloved dogs. &nbsp;She was preceded in death by: her father, Lew Ediger; &nbsp;Art and Mary Smisor and John and Martha Ediger, grandparents.Cremation has taken place. Georgia Kay Walden, 72, died May 22, 2025, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. She was born September 21, 1952, in Hutchinson, to Oliver A. and Ocie Z. (Latham) Smith.

Georgia attended Hutchinson schools. She worked in the office and on the production floor at Phillips News Company for several years before going to work as a customer service representative at Banker’s Life Insurance Company for 20 years until she retired in 2022. Georgia loved playing the Hee Haw slot machines at various casinos and celebrating the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, and making them special for her kids and grandkids.

On January 28, 1972, she married Richard W. Walden, in Hutchinson. He died August 14, 2010.

Brandon was a 1993 graduate of Fairfield High School and attended Fort Hays State University. He worked as an IT specialist for Collingwood Grain and Impact Design for many years. Some people know a lot about a few things while others know a little about a lot of things. Brandon truly knew a lot about a lot of things. He excelled at computers, could tackle almost any home remodel project, detailed cars, and most recently just painted his first car. He could make rag quilts and soap and was an excellent cook preparing many meals for his family. Brandon was very quick-witted. He loved his family immensely.&nbsp;

Scott Long of Ocoee, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, at Orlando Health Central. He was 62 years old.

Born in Hutchinson, Kansas, on October 8, 1962, Scott was the son of William and Joan (Jacobs) Long, Sr. He graduated from Hutchinson High School and attended Kansas State University, where he developed a lifelong love for the Wildcats. A true sports enthusiast, Scott also enjoyed golfing and cheering on his favorite teams.

For many years, Scott worked in the family business in Hutchinson before relocating with his family to Ocoee, Florida. On April 8, 1985, Scott married his high school sweetheart, Tenley Wiard, at Hutchinson United Methodist Church. Together, they shared 40 wonderful years of marriage.

Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Tenley Long, and their son Kyle Long, daughter-in-law Ashley Long, and cherished granddaughter Kennedy Long, all of Beaver, West Virginia. He is also survived by his father, William Long Sr.; his brother, Jim Long; and his sister, Ann Farley, all of Hutchinson. Additionally, Scott leaves behind nieces Tessa Farley (Miles) of Hutchinson, Sara Long of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rachel Burke (Shawn) of Midlothian, Texas, and nephew Seth Farley of Hutchinson, along with many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Long, and his brother, Bill Long Jr.

Pam graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1966. She worked as an optical technician at Singleton-Joyce Optical for many years and then at Southwind Eyecare for over 20 years until she retired. Pam was an avid reader, enjoyed flower gardening, and making breads and candies for the holidays.

On November 12, 1976, she married Danny E. Popp, in Hutchinson. He survives.

Also surviving are: her daughters, Sharon Swarts (Casey) and Tonya Wolfe; grandchildren, Elizabeth Swarts and Justin Swarts, all of Hutchinson; sister, Cara Jean Williams of Carolina Shores, NC; niece, Cindy Summers of Loveland, CO; nephew, Robert Simpson, of Hutchinson; and many extended family members.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Darlene Miller and Shirley Wise.

On August 28, 1966, Bob married Janis Thompson. They shared 58 years together before his death.&nbsp;

Bob is survived by: beloved wife, Janis Battey of Hutchinson; daughter, Kim (Dan) Oborny of Durham; grandsons, Ethan (Cassidy) Oborny of Durham, Logan (Shannon Taylor) Oborny of Tampa; great-grandson, Beau Oborny of Durham; one aunt, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.&nbsp;

Virginia loved crossword puzzles, playing cards, and gameshows. She was very determined to keep her independence. Her hobbies kept her mind sharp. Virginia loved her trusty canine companion, Jojo, who was always by her side and even followed her into the afterlife. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Virginia is survived by: children, Coletta Herbold of Yucca Valley, CA and Stacey Skains of Ventura, CA.&nbsp;

She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Blaine Waggoner.&nbsp;

Bill graduated from Hoisington High School, Kansas State University, and received a master’s degree in education from Fort Hays State University. He served with the 40th Infantry Division in the United States Army from 1951-1953 and was stationed in Korea. Bill began his career as a high school sports coach and then went to work as an underwriter for Travelers Insurance and lived in Kansas City, Minneapolis, MN, and Cleveland, OH, before returning to Kansas and working as an agent for State Farm Insurance. He retired as a sales rep for Roberts Hutch-Line. Bill was an avid golfer and fan of K-State Wildcat football and basketball. He was a member of the Lions club as well as other clubs and organizations. Bill went on Kansas Honor Flight #15 to Washington, DC, in 2014. He was a life member of K-State Alumni Association and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.

On February 5, 1956, Bill married Marilyn F. Miller in Burdett. She survives.

Also surviving are: nieces, Debbie Adams of Hutchinson, Sheila Knoll (Gary) of Topeka, Tanya Behnke (Wayne) of Bushton, Kathy Cmelik of Yukon, OK, Lori Kade (Tony) of Granbury, TX; nephews, Craig Black (Joni) of Emporia, Jon Devine (Jriz) of Fort Worth, TX; and many extended family members.

Donna Lou Strube, 81, formerly of Claflin, died May 16, 2025, at her home at Good Samaritan Society – Hutchinson Village. She was born May 4, 1944, in Great Bend, KS, to Albert H. and Viola L. (Knop) Soeken.

Donna graduated from Claflin High School in 1962. She attended Kansas State University, and received her cosmetology license in Manhattan, KS. Donna was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, Claflin, as well as serving as organist for many years. &nbsp;She was also active in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Donna enjoyed camping, travelling, gardening and tending to her flowers. Her most cherished memories were time spent with family and friends.&nbsp;

On November 29, 1964, she married her lifelong love, Arthur P. “Art” Strube, in Claflin. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Thanksgiving of 2024.

Donna is survived by: &nbsp;daughters, Tonia Navarro of Hutchinson, Terese (Wade) Beal of Harper, Tiffany (Brent) Steinle of Ankeny, IA; grandchildren, Joshua Navarro, Haley Navarro, Taylor Claflin, Kendra Claflin and Kellen Claflin, Sydney Steinle and Austin Steinle; siblings, Merle (Ileen) Soeken, Marilyn Buczinski, Nancy Soeken; and many nieces and nephews.

Steven D. “Steve” Langvardt, 71 of Hutchinson died May 14, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Steve was born August 25, 1953 in Junction City to Frank Eldon and Sarah Maye (Diehl) Langvardt.

Steve attended high school in Junction City, Kansas; Mesa, Arizona; and graduated from Clay Center, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS, his freshman year and then transferred to Hastings College, Hastings, Nebraska. Steve graduated from Hastings in 1976 with the Bachelors of Science degree in Business. After graduating from college, Steve moved to North Platte, Nebraska and worked for the Firestone Tire Company and Union Pacific Railroad as a Switchman/Brakeman. His son Jess was born in 1982. Wanting to be closer to his family, they moved to Clay Center, Kansas. He worked for his dad at the Palmer Grain Elevator and attended Kansas State to further his education in accounting. His son Adam was born in 1985. In 1987, the family moved to Hutchinson and Steve worked as an accountant until his retirement.

Steve was a member of the New Covenant Presbyterian Church and was on the session governing board at the time of his death. His strong faith in Christ provided him a firm foundation through life. His family, church congregation, and lifelong friends would be a constant pillar of strength, encouragement, and love.&nbsp;

Steve lived a life marked by unwavering integrity and deep faith. Family and friends were very important to him. Steve enjoyed spending his free time with his sons, practicing skills for the sport of the season, as well as time spent with the family pets. Watching Nebraska and K State sports was also a favorite pastime. Steve had a love for weightlifting and shared that love with his sons which sparked the trajectory of their careers. The camaraderie he had with fellow lifters resulted in lifelong friendships. Steve also spent many hours on the road and on the bleachers watching his sons compete in football, baseball, soccer, basketball, and wrestling. He was very proud of their accomplishments on and off the field.&nbsp;

On August 4, 1979, he married Jane Ellen Robertson, in Tekamah, Nebraska. They shared over 45 years of marriage.

Steve is survived by: his wife, Jane Langvardt; sons, Jess (Jessica) Langvardt, and Adam Langvardt; brothers, Joel Langvardt, and David Langvardt; grandchildren, Ryker, Bria, and Tyce Langvardt; and numerous extended family members.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025, at New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 700 E. 25th Hutchinson, with Pastor Craig Waetke officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date. Friends may sign his memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

Buhler – Norman L. Dick, 86, passed away May 15, 2025, at The Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. He was born October 16, 1938 in Burrton, KS the son of Frank and Hilda Dick. 

He had worked many jobs over the years, but his favorites were being a farmer, rancher and starting the family business, 3D Farm and Ranch. He was a member of the Journey Mennonite Church in South Hutchinson. On September 11, 1958 he married Dellis D. Schmidt. 

He is survived by his children, Darren (Julie) of Buhler, Dayul (Kathy) of Hutchinson, and Dorinda Honn of Buhler, his brother, Larry of Buhler, 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Dellis, a son Doyle and 3 great grandchildren, Reighgan and Jeremiah Dick and Clara Dowell. 

He was buried on May 16, 2025 at Hoffnunsau Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life service on Thursday June 5, at 3pm, at Journey Mennonite Church, South Hutchinson, KS.

Billey Joe “B.J.” Eckert, 83, died May 16, 2025, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. &nbsp;He was born April 10, 1942, in Denver, CO, to Earl and Laberta (Cook) Eckert.&nbsp;

Billey was a welder, retiring from Shield Industries in South Hutchinson. &nbsp;He enjoyed spending time woodworking, tinkering in his garage, and morning coffee at McDonalds. &nbsp;Billey was quiet, humble, and reserved. &nbsp;Despite rarely sharing his experiences during the Vietnam War, Billey was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1962 to 1966.

On September 30, 1966, he married Vivian Kay Shank, at Medora Community Bible Church. &nbsp;She died July 23, 2000.&nbsp;

Billey is survived by: &nbsp;his son, John C. Eckert (Dana) of Hutchinson and their children, Kristen Yoder (Patrick) of Hutchinson and Kelsey Eckert of Akron, OH; his daughter, Amy Orrison (John) of Hutchinson and their children, Brittany Obrecht (Tyler) and their children, Bryson, Jaxson, and Rhilynn Obrecht, all of Buhler, Taylor Orrison and his daughter, Jossilyn Nulik of Hutchinson, and Ashlee Orrison (fiancé, Kadin Pennington) of Buhler; sister, Patricia Wray &nbsp;(Kenneth) of Hutchinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dakotah Justyce Green, 20, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 12, 2025, in Wichita, KS. He was born in Medford, OR on August 24, 2004, to Gary and Debra Green and passed away just three months before his 21st birthday.

He spent most of his life growing up in the Hutchinson and Sterling area. Dakotah loved playing football, hanging out with family, joining whatever game or wrestling match was happening in the front yard and creating laughter wherever he went. Dakotah graduated from Nickerson High School in 2023 and started to find his way as an adult. You could always find Dakotah side by side with his best four-legged friend Bentley, who he loved endlessly.

Dakotah is proceeded in death by his uncle Jerry Inman; “Papa” Randy McElheny; grandfather, Sam Elliott and aunt Ann Elliott.

Terry Lynn Mack, 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at her home in Hutchinson, KS. Terry was born October 8, 1957, in Myrtle Beach, SC, the daughter of L.D. and Bonnie (Bonds) Strickland.

Terry graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1974 and attended Washburn University. She worked for Conway Human Development Center from 1993-2000 and later worked for TECH as the Director of Health, retiring in 2016. On March 28, 2000, Terry married Thomas Mack Jr. in Conway, Arkansas. She was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and Ruth Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #48.

She was preceded in death by her parents L.D. and Bonnie Strickland.

Terry is survived by her husband, Thomas Mack Jr.; a daughter, Michelle (Dewey) Carter; grandchildren, Michael Gast and Autumn McCown; step son, Stacy Mack; step grandchildren, Eriq Carter, Dakota Carter and Aniya Craig; great grandchildren, Anistyn Gast, Aaliah Masters and Allyson Gast; brothers-in-law, Anthony (Jeraldine) Mack and Julius R. Terry was born October 8, 1957, in Myrtle Beach, SC, the daughter of L.D. and Bonnie (Bonds) Strickland.Terry graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1974 and attended Washburn University. She worked for Conway Human Development Center from 1993-2000 and later worked for TECH as the Director of Health, retiring in 2016. On March 28, 2000, Terry married Thomas Mack Jr. in Conway, Arkansas. She was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and Ruth Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #48.She was preceded in death by her parents L.D. and Bonnie Strickland.Terry is survived by her husband, Thomas Mack Jr.; a daughter, Michelle (Dewey) Carter; grandchildren, Michael Gast and Autumn McCown; step son, Stacy Mack; step grandchildren, Eriq Carter, Dakota Carter and Aniya Craig; great grandchildren, Anistyn Gast, Aaliah Masters and Allyson Gast; brothers-in-law, Anthony (Jeraldine) Mack and Julius R. PHOENIX - Noe Villarreal, Jr., formerly of Hutchinson, passed away April 1st, 2025 in Phoenix, AZ. Noe was a cosmetologist in Hutchinson before moving to Phoenix in 1994. Survived by his sister, Olga Villarreal and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Noe and Juanita and three brothers, Robert, Roy, and David. 

Funeral mass Saturday, May 17, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Bushton, KS. Burial service following at church cemetery.

Rosetta "Rosie" Lorraine Reed Rowe, 61, passed away on May 5, 2025, in Ellinwood, KS.&nbsp; She was born on October 13, 1963 in Great Bend, KS, the daughter of Donald Marion and Dixie Lorraine (Webster) Reed.

On October 19, 1991, Rosie married Kenneth E. F. Rowe in Great Bend.&nbsp; She was a waitress for many years at Ralph Wallace.&nbsp; She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Great Bend.&nbsp;

Rosie is proceeded in death by her parents, Donald and Dixie Reed; and a sister, Coleen Reed Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; and a brother Wayne Reed.

A memorial service will be Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5851 Eisenhower Ave, Great Bend, KS.&nbsp; Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.&nbsp;

Jon worked at Lowen Sign Company for many years. He worked at Gregory Inc. for the past three years. &nbsp;Jon was a person who craved knowledge and loved obtaining new information. He found everything interesting and tried to cultivate a wealth of knowledge on all subjects.&nbsp;

Jon is survived by: sons, Ethan and Wyatt Shanks; parents, Ralph and Lily Shanks; brother, Daniel Shanks; and uncle, David Johnson.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Deacon Todd Ray officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Lewis Albert “Louie” Latham, Jr., 82, died November 13, 2024, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. &nbsp;He was born December 30, 1941, in Hardenville, MO, to Lewis Andrew and Marguerite Elizabeth (Lyman) Latham, Sr.&nbsp;

Louie graduated from Buhler High School in 1959, and served six years in the Kansas National Guard.&nbsp; He worked at Cessna/Eaton as a foreman for 43 years. Louie enjoyed anything outdoors such as farming, fishing, hunting, water skiing, and fixing whatever might need repaired. He also had a green thumb, and could grow anything, from vegetables to flowers. Louie and his wife, Bobbi, have been purple martin “landlords” for almost 40 years, with the purple martins always finding their way back to the homes that Louie built for them. &nbsp;

On May 21, 1997, he married Bobbi (Donaldson) Baker, in Stafford, VA.

Louie is survived by: &nbsp;his wife, Bobbi Latham of Hutchinson; children, Vicki Huston (Tracy) of Hutchinson, Mark Latham (Kiersten) of Pittsford, MI, Darren Latham (Chelsey) of Mascoutah, IL, Tracy Simmons (Shawn) of South Hutchinson, Travis Jones (Debbie) of &nbsp;Ruther Glen, VA, and Courtney Peak (Dustin) of Buhler; sister, Phyllis Kerschner of Hutchinson; in-laws, Bob and Lauralee Donaldson of Hutchinson; over 70 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his four-legged sidekick, Charlie.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by: &nbsp;his parents; brothers, Jimmie Latham and Glen Latham; brother-in-law, Lonnie Kerschner; and son-in-law, Joshua Peak.&nbsp;

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Elliott Chapel, with military honors presented by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.&nbsp; Friends can sign his memorial book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.&nbsp;
