HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Grace Bible Church's Spanish-speaking ministry, Grace en Español is leading the Cinco De Mayo Festival on Saturday in Hutchinson.

May 4 at George Pyle Park, we'll have a lot of goodies," said Pastor Josue Pineda with Grace en Español. "It is really a nice, community event. We're excited to do it. All the prizes we're buying are from local stores like El Rodeo and El Patio."

The event is free to enter with carnival games, bounce houses, food, eating contests, live music and Mexican folkloric dancing.

"We are having lots of fun," Pineda said. "Lots of different activities for young ones, for adults, for any age. We have a basketball hoop. We're going to make a little tournament. We have mini golf, we have piñatas, we have a jalapeño eating contest."

The event is from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Ave. B and Poplar in Hutchinson.
