Downtown Hutchinson
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Kristin Beal with Harvester Arts Project who coordinates their Gallery Place Project will be visiting Hutchinson on May 13.
This workshop is open to the community, and they encourage you to attend. The goal is to help the community understand what placemaking is and gain insight as plans move forward and officials implement new ideas in Downtown Hutchinson related to placemaking.
This event will serve as a demonstration project for some of the ideas in the Downtown Master Plan.
Below is a schedule of what the day will look like:
10:00 a.m. Kristin will provide a presentation at the Hutch Chamber. She will talk more about what placemaking is and how it works.
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: Lunch and placemaking conversation at DCI Park. Food trucks will be at the park.
