HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Zoo is participating in AZA's "Party for the Planet" which is the largest combined Earth Day celebration in North America on Saturday, April 20 from noon to 4 p.m.

Zoos and Aquariums all across the USA host events to help raise awareness about local conservation projects and teach the public ways to be a good neighbor to wildlife.

There are various activities going on throughout the day. The zoo will have various learning stations throughout where you can collect free goodies and animal trading cards in order to earn free fish food tickets (one per family group).

Keepers will also be doing fun enrichment for the animals throughout the event. And last but not least, the Prairie Thunder Railroad will be running all day.

The event is free to the public and does not require registration to attend.
