HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Three students from Vietnam and one from Japan, all part of the IQ Education Consortium, are seeking loving host families so they can attend Trinity Catholic School in Hutchinson this upcoming school year.

This initiative is a philanthropic mission between Trinity Catholic High SchoolStudentRoomStay (SRS), and the International Cultural Exchange Services (ICES). The goal is to foster global understanding and educational exchange by connecting students from around the world with welcoming families in our community. By opening your home, you provide these students with a life-changing experience and, in return, bring the richness of their cultures into your home.

We are asking for your help to spread the word about this opportunity. Host families receive a monthly stipend of $1,100 to assist with the costs of hosting. The students are responsible for maintaining their grades, covering their personal expenses, and respecting the house rules set by their host families. This arrangement ensures a positive and harmonious experience for everyone involved.

If you know anyone who might be interested in hosting one of these students or if you would like more information, email Jason Tumulak at [email protected].
