
The Kansas Shrine Bowl and Pittsburg State University are excited to announce a new addition to the Kansas Shrine Bowl. The inaugural Kansas Shrine Bowl Media Camp will take place at Pittsburg State University from July 20-23, 2022.
Attendees will get hands-on instruction from Pittsburg State University faculty as well as media professionals from across the region.

Students will spend the week covering a wide variety of events culminating with the Kansas Shrine Bowl all-star game. As part of the week-long buildup, Kansas Shriners host a cheer camp, marching band camp, golf tournament, junior all-star challenge, high school football combine, parade, and a participant appreciation banquet.
The wide variety of events and camps, combined with three full days of football, band, and cheer practice, will give students ample opportunities to challenge themselves and expand their media skills.
The early camp registration fee is $250 per student. The camp registration fee will increase to $300 after May 15, 2022. The registration deadline is June 15, 2022 and camp is limited to a max of 30 students.
Eligible students must be a High School Sophomore or Junior during the 2021-2022 school year. Camp registration fee includes room and board for the duration of camp, all meals, and a commemorative camp T-shirt.
Broadcasting equipment will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring equipment of their own.
