Ronald John “Ron” Dryden, 65, died May 30, 2021, at Pine Village, Moundridge. He was born December 1, 1955, in Larned, to Robert Scott and Velda Lenora (Ernsting) Dryden.

Ron graduated from Larned High School in 1974. He worked on the family farm, before finding his passion as an over-the-road truck driver, typically hauling hazardous material. Ron enjoyed gardening, hunting, and welding. He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, Hutchinson.

In November 2007, he married Linda (Taylor) Bock, in Las Vegas, NV.

Ron is survived by: wife, Linda; siblings, Glenda Elaine Schuft (Ronny), Harold William Dryden (Valerie), and Marvin Wayne Dryden (Janelle); children, Diane Lika (Endri), Michael Dryden (Belen) , Wyatt Dryden (Ingrid), and Leslie Ziola (Jeramie); stepdaughters, Crystal Thiessen (Jacob) and Carissa Bock (CJ); 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Burrton Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday.
