Kenneth E. Unruh, 91, of Canton, Kansas, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at Wesley Medical Center. He was born Aug. 12, 1929 in Galva, Kansas, the son of Enoch and Nettie (Base) Unruh.
He was a member of United Center Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Galva, Kansas.
Kenneth was a farmer and custom harvester.
Kenneth was united in marriage to Darlene Koehn on October 22, 1950 in Galva. She preceded him in death on August 15, 2008.
Survivors include his son, Gilbert (Barbara) Unruh of Galva; daughters, Karen (Lyndon) Koehn of Galva, Marilee (Oren) Dirks of Russell Springs, and Darla (Clint) Reuter of El Reno, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; grandson, Clayton Reuter; four brothers, Vivan (Zelma), Otis (Manda), Glenn (Raejean), and Dennis (Beulah); five sisters, Irene (Danny) Unruh, Sophia (Kermit) Becker, Della (Glenn) Becker, Evelyn (Bob) Seiler, and Vernie (Edwin) Becker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Sunday, January 17, 2021 at United Center Mennonite Church, Galva. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the church.
