HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Vieyra Honors Foundation is hosting its 2nd annual Veterans Honor 5K & Fun Run, this Saturday, Nov. 12 starting at 8:30 a.m. at DCI Park at 2nd & Main.
Registration continues through event morning, and can be done online. In-person registration will also take place on race day.
The event features a 5K looped course in Downtown Hutchinson, which is officially chip -timed, as well as a 1-mile fun run that is un-timed. VFW Post 1361 will be hosting a pancake feed during the event. The feed is open to the public and is by donation. All proceeds from the event go toward Reno County veteran awareness and initiatives in alignment with the Vieyra Honors Foundation mission and vision.
