RENO COUNTY, Kan. — Firefighters from three departments responded to a fully involved house fire Wednesday night in rural Reno County.

Crews from Pretty Prairie and Reno County Fire Districts 8 and 9 were dispatched at 8:57 p.m. to the 24,000 block of South Graber Road, according to Reno County Emergency Management. The first unit on scene reported a single-story home engulfed in flames.

The fire was reported by a neighbor, as the resident was not home at the time, officials said. No injuries were reported. Pretty Prairie EMS responded and provided rehabilitation for fire crews.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Reno County Sheriff’s Office.
