HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Kansas Attorney General and Republican candidate for Governor, Derek Schmidt will speak to the Reno County GOP at their Freedom Picnic Saturday, September 11.
The event starts at 4 p.m. at the South Hutch Community Building at 101 West Avenue C in South Hutchinson.
Schmidt was recently endorsed for Governor by Kansas U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, who had originally endorsed former Gov. Dr. Jeff Colyer in the race, but Colyer dropped out to battle prostate cancer.
Schmidt has served as Kansas Attorney General since 2011.
