MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson Center for Health is proud to recognize Carol Fickes, Director of Physician Clinics, for her successful completion of the 2024 Kansas Hospital Association (KHA) Leadership Institute. Carol’s achievement highlights her dedication to leadership development and her commitment to advancing healthcare excellence in rural Kansas.
The Kansas Hospital Association established the Leadership Institute to empower hospital employees by offering professional development opportunities that enhance the personal skills and abilities essential for driving positive change and innovation. This year’s program included six rigorous training courses, held from June through September, equipping participants with valuable tools for leadership in the healthcare industry.
In addition to her role leading McPherson Center for Health’s Rural Health Clinic, Carol dedicated herself to completing the KHA Leadership Institute program, demonstrating her passion for both personal and professional growth.
Reflecting on her experience, Carol said, “Throughout this program, I’ve been inspired by so many passionate healthcare champions. I am especially grateful to my incredible mentors, our dedicated providers, compassionate nurses, and the entire team at McPherson Center for Health, whose support has been instrumental.”
