
SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Planning Commission will meet October 20 at 4:30 p.m. at the Reno County Public Works Facility at 600 Scott Boulevard in South Hutchinson.
On the agenda for the Planning Commission is a final plat subdivision request for a proposed six-lot residential subdivision located approximately 600 feet east of the intersection of S. Willison Road and E. Silver Lake Road.
Also to be considered is a request for a conditional use permit to establish an indoor RV storage facility along with a related office building on land zoned AG at the northeast corner of S. Willison Road and E. Boundary Road at 25118 S. Willison Road.
In addition, the commission will look at a request for a conditional use permit to establish a music and special event venue on land zoned R-1 – Rural Residential District on the west side of Old K-61 Highway North, approximately one half mile south of the intersection of Old K-61 Highway North and E 69th Avenue at 6311 Old K-61 Highway North.
Those items will have potential public comment with them. Comments must be limited to 5 minutes.
There will be two items to be discussed that will not have public comment on the 20th, one is a text amendment to Article 3-105(3) of the Subdivision Regulations regarding the minimum and maximum acreage permitted for an agricultural lot split application.
The other is a text amendment to Article 13 of the Zoning Regulations regarding the minimum yard requirements for each zoning district.
