
RENO COUNTY — Two people were arrested following a Wednesday chase in Reno County.
According to the Reno County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, they were informed that a victim of a previous theft had spotted the suspect in Pretty Prairie.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to the area and found Brian Palmer and Krystal Estes leaving a residence. The pair were in a brown Chevy truck with a flat bed. Deputies attempted to stop the truck, but it fled the area. After a lengthy chase, the brown Chevy came to a stop and both Brian and Krystal attempted to flee the area on foot. Neither were successful and were apprehended. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the truck had been stolen in Stafford County.
Estes was arrested for possession of the stolen truck and interference.
Palmer was arrested for flee and elude, possession of the truck, possession of meth, criminal damage and several out of county warrants. In addition, Palmer was also arrested for several other crimes that occurred over the last several months. These charges include 2 burglaries, felony theft and trespassing. These investigations are ongoing.
