
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The case count for COVID-19 in Reno County was at 244 as of Monday afternoon. The last time the count was that high was in the second week of February.
For reference to the time of year, the county was at 239 cases on August 24 of last year. Also, ten people are hospitalized from Reno County. There are 11 total COVID patients in census at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Vaccination numbers are still slowly increasing, with 43.68% of Reno County residents having received at least one dose of vaccine.
The Health Department, at 209 W. 2nd, is accepting walk-ins for COVID-19 vaccines during normal operating hours or visit https://vaccinefinder.org to find other availability.
