
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — An earthquake just across the Kansas-Oklahoma border is one of the strongest recently in the region.
Preliminary measurement from the U.S. Geological Survey has the earthquake at a 4.6 magnitude centered just to the northwest of Medford, Oklahoma at a depth of 7.8 km.
It was felt at least as far north as Hutchinson around 11:11 a.m. Monday.
