HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Kansas U.S. Senator Dr. Roger Marshall is on a statewide bus tour with Republican candidates Monday.
"We're stumping for Governor candidate Derek Schmidt," Marshall said. "It's been a great week with him. This is day number six, the last week. We'll be all over south central Kansas today, including Hutchinson."
The Hutchinson stop is at 2:30 p.m. at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. Marshall is supportive of all the statewide Republican slate, including a former staff member.
"Katie Sawyer is our Lt. Governor candidate," Marshall said. "She's run my state operations for six years. She and I have been to 340 town halls together. We've done twice that number of roundtables and had a cup of coffee with, literally 100 times that number of people." She has her finger on the pulse of central Kansas. She's a central Kansas girl. She and her husband farm there between Inman and Hutchinson."
Monday is the final day of the The 6-day, 27-stop, statewide bus tour.
