
Nancy Kay Eales, 68, of Hutchinson, died Feb. 28, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 17, 1952, in Hutchinson, to Carl and Margene (Glass) Lewis.
Nancy graduated from Nickerson High School. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked at Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center, Portfolio Recovery Associates, and farmed with her husband, Dean, raising vegetables and livestock. Nancy loved crafting and animals of all kinds, but spending time with her grandchildren is what she cherished most of all. Nancy was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, Hutchinson.
On September 23, 1990, she married Dean Eales in Hutchinson. He died March 7, 2020. She had been previously married to Jack Moore.
Nancy is survived by: children, Sean Moore (Tammie), Hutchinson, Kerry Moore (Lisa), Riley, Corey Eales (Courtney), Hutchinson; five grandchildren, Easton Ratzlaff, Bryce Eales, Abigail Moore, Kandis Boyd (Jesse), and T. J. Smith (Abigail); seven great-grandchildren, Caleb, Emily, Aalieyah and Joshua Boyd, Sean and Amberllie Smith and Hailey Christmann; and her mother, Shawne Christmann; father, Carl Lewis, South Hutchinson; sister, Linda Henderson (Wayne), Partridge; brother, Chuck Lewis (Vicky), Derby; and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2021, at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, 1319 E. 17th Ave., Hutchinson, with Pastor Nathan Karriker officiating. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with the family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
