YODER, Kan. — Yoder Charter School announced last week their newest Ag project, School Yard Eggs.

The school's flock of 1 year-old hens have started laying eggs and are getting accustomed to their new coop and surroundings.

K-3 students at Yoder Charter School are taking care of the chickens and collecting eggs.

When available, school yard eggs can be found for sale in the front office window at the school for a suggested minimum donation of $4/dozen.

Contact the office at 620-465-2605 to make sure they have some.

The school thanks Central Prairie Co-op for their donation of all the chicken feed. Co-op employees, Jeff and Shane, came to see the projects and drop off the feed.

The school also thanks Mark Horst & King Solar, Mervin Fisher, LaVon Bontrager, National Ag In The Classroom, and G&G Sales for their donations of time, funding, and materials for the project.
